I'm a Croatian and the old "dedas" (grandpas) kick my ass in negotiating and sold stuff every now and then and yet i still go to the swap meets...

These old guys holding these swap meets are such players. You'd buy a watch ( the one you don't want) some old ex-Yu furniture, a photograph of Tito and some China made cutlery - all of that well above market price.... And go home happy with the deal
