Do people cut off the second holding loop of a leather watch strap if it keeps slipping off the strap end? I know, First World problem, but I find my OCD self constantly pushing it back into place.

People don't really like low quality strap like that so they usually don't buy it, or just throw it away and buy a better strap.:)

I like the vintage style straps with a single, wide keeper, like these:

    (thanks)

Straps with wide keepers can be hard to find though.

I guess I should throw this away because of the low-quality strap and the large keeper .

Definitely good advice. As a relative newbie, I have come to the conclusion that straps matter.

If the keeper does fall out then it's low quality and usually found on fake watches.

Does the keeper fall out? If yes, then ::facepalm1:: indeed.

There are no silly strap questions, although there are silly straps.

I once had a math teacher who, if someone said they had a stupid question, would say that "there are no stupid questions, just stupid people who ask questions."

I have a fairly large wrist and have cut the second keeper off a rubber strap before.
