Silicone bands

Why does it seem that lots of watches are coming on silicone these days. I have my omega on a 50 dollar aftermarket bracelet Because I feel the omega silicone band makes it look cheap

Just an FYI - a lot of watches are coming on Rubber straps, NOT Silicone. There is a HUGE difference in quality and wearability between high-quality natural rubber vs silicone. Some resources for broadening your knowledge base:

That being said, that aftermarket looks pretty good although it's impossible to tell exactly how well it actually wears. While the finishing looks decent the end link fit, clasp action and retention, link integration and overall fit and finish cannot be fully judged from a single dimly lit photo.

I'm a fan of the natural rubber bands. Different strokes.... I've got friends who refuse to wear anything but bracelets.

i was in the past that type of person but after i start to try the leather and silicone i forget about my preconceived ideas and i find out that it really feel great and it's just other experience at the wrist..😀
