Hi there folks. Does my seamaster proffessional ceramic have that silicone balance spring I have watched omega making on u tube? Am new to this forum and inner workings of watches but getting into it more and more.
I'm fairly certain that the SI14 balance is specific to the Cal 8500 and Cal 9300 movements, while the Cal 2500D movement has the three level co-axial escapement, it doesn't have that, or the other features of the Cal 8500. Still a sweet as watch though, and a very accurate movement in the 2500D, but what you need to do now is plan your /next/ watch Maybe a 9300?
Thanks for making that clear. Just got the new watch and testing its accuracy. So far about 1 second per day fast and 25 seconds in total since I set it. So really really happy so far
