the last pictures of my vintage cameras and lenses before I sold most of them to fund my explorer.

I had a Leica M1, M3, and M4, but I couldn't find the pictures in my google photos lol. So here is a small m3 and my lenses.

My M3 is literally just on its way back to me, after 3 months undergoing a complete service & overhaul, by leading UK specialist

Have had to rely on backup kit, in its absence

Nothing quite like an expertly exposed, half plate Ektachrome transparency……only beaten by 10 x 8 …that is actually ‘sharper’, than reality

Agree. The only drawback is mobility. So after that first lesson on using it, regrettably I saw myself shooting more with the Hasselblad and the Plaubel Makina. I need to find a time to use this again - perhaps a good start is to shoot still life.

I don't have any vintage cameras myself, but I do have a picture of my great-grandmother using hers at the beach in Germany in 1912.

Very impressive !!!!!!!!

I love vintage cameras, when workmanship meant something and tools were made to last. I have used most of these but could not get the heart to get rid of them, a real packrat I guess 😉. Well here is one of mine.
