Condolences on your loss, @Mad Dog.

That model was called the Golden Heritage by LeCoultre back in the 1960’s.

Also called “Memovox Alarm G” in other advertisements of the period.

More information on this model can be found on this thread from Watchprosite.

Beautiful watches.

Here's my recently acquired 3041 Memovox with K814 movement.
Serial number of the movement dates it from 1964 (though JLC serial tables are quite a secret).
It came with a box, that I have no idea if is correct for that watch.

Not a big fan of the Skeleton hands, otherwise this could be a one and done perfect exit watch.
Thats the reason i acrually love my black Polaris Date variant.

I thought this was my last watch, until it wasn't. 😀

Boy this thread is slow.
It's almost like it's a forum for some other brand!

Just joking around as I view JLC highly, probably even surpassing Omega, which is hard for a fanboy like me to say.
My only JLC so far is an Atmos and I can't get the strap just right....but I covet several models.

Great JLC watches on this post. Here’s my JLC Master Perpetual Calendar 8-Days (Q1612520) with a JLC caliber 876-440B movement, 192-hour power reserve, perpetual calendar, day, date, month, year, moon phase, power reserve, and it even tells the time!

My 2010 jaeger lecoultre reverso grande 976.
The model was chosen in gold to celebrate 80 years of reverso with a special model that has an “R” in place of the 8 on the dial. Also, this watch was made in the same year and month that I got married.

Sharing my newly-acquired Memovox (my first JLC after a decade of getting into this addiction). Purchased here in Tokyo.

Wonderful to see this! - thanks for posting. No mere Memovox, but a blue tuxedo dial version, one of probably fewer than 7,000 that now exist, of all variants. This one is the "Claude Brasseur", from the film "Il Faut Vivre Dangereusement". Mine says hello!

Been offered some nice gold pieces recently, so I finally got my first Reverso. The JLC Grande Taille in 18k, which I think is the perfect sport dress size compared to the modern Grande Reverso. Looks bigger in pictures than on my wrist, but much smaller than the Patek Gondolo. Didn't think I would get another rectangular watch, but if it fits!
