I have two, but I can only get my hands on one at the moment. Which is this one: The other one a Polaris 50 year anniversary that I have recently purchased and not seen in the metal. I am waiting (not so patiently) with no idea when I may receive due to this stupid Covid thing. Could be weeks or months Not my pics, the seller took them for me..
Just picked up this Reverso squadra today. Initially I thought it would be big for my 6.5 inch wrist. It is a large watch but wearable. Absolutely love it, it’s one of these watches where you look at it and feel great satisfaction.
Three views of the only JLC watch I own . . . A 1963 rose gold Memovox with a K814 movement. Pretty, but does not get much wrist time.
Thank you. I find the watch lovely myself. It just feels a little too dressy for every day and I generally wear tool chronograph watches most days, though we do have more tools on our smart phones than we have on our watches. This thread has inspired me. Perhaps I'll wear it a bit more often.
Can you wear a Reverso as a daily watch? Of course I don’t intend to do sport with it. But I read somewhere the movement is not so robust. I just bought a Reverso squadra and the movement cal 977 is meant to be more on the sporty side and more rugged that other classical Reverso. Any expert opinion will be appreciated. Many thanks
Thanks so much for your detail pics of a gorgeous watch; really good to have those movement close-ups. And, where did you find that wonderful alligator strap? Just a terrific package!
Reverso is as good a daily watch as any other. I've never heard of the movement being less robust than other watches & that isn't my experience.
the left one I've had for some time now, the reverso (classic) is new to me. I graduated law school in june 2020 and wanted something special to graduate. It took a trip to Paris to source the reverso I wanted in the size I wanted. Ofcourse the original austrich strap was shot to bits, but I found this beaut of a strap to go with it.
