Awesome! Please share a lot more pictures of this as I have seen pretty much only press and review pictures of this watch. Congratulations!!!

Dial is a real changer depending on lighting conditions. I know it wont be for everyone but I love these, and I suspect even those that are not fans will struggle to not like this. Its blown me away, I love it even more than I expected.

Here are a few I have on phone but not great. Will sort better when its light.

Thank you for sharing, I look forward to seeing more of this watch on the forum. Definitely the greatest strength of this line is how different the dial can be depending upon lighting conditions. Truly stunning.

Lots of pictures needed because every new position creates a different appearance. This thing constantly changes.

That looks like about five different watches. What a dial!👍

I really like the look of those summer blue NATO straps, and may wind up getting one for my heritage. I have (and like) an Artem strap for mine, but wish Omega made a perfect-fitting OEM rubber strap.

I'm just curious, the Omega rubber straps don't fit your wrist? If I'm not mistaken, I believe they make two different length rubber straps.

No, I mean perfect-fitting to the case. The Heritage has a 21mm lug width and there is no rubber strap that is made specifically for the case and lug profile. The strap from the 43mm ceramic seamaster is 21mm and fits both the first and second gen heritage very well (image, image), but it comes in black only. I owned one for quite a while and wore it on my heritages, but sold it when I moved my first-gen on. Loved it, fit great. There is a Seamaster chronograph strap that comes in blue and fits the heritage ok (image CVZ012234), but it apparently isn't a perfect fit, needs different springbars, and per at least one owner I've talked to, interferes with the bezel action.

I prefer NATO straps for a few reasons. To me, they seem to breathe better in the heat and are easy to wash. The initial shock from a hot/cold case on the skin is not an issue. Should a spring-bar failure occur, the watch case will still remain affixed to your wrist — possibly saving someone from expensive replacement/repair costs.

I had to go back and add the UD. They’re both so good I couldn’t just do one.

Does anyone know how long Omega plan to do the 75th line?

I’d also love to know how long these are going to be in production for. I’ve been offered a decent discount on a PO but I’m sure that will be off the table if production ends.

Craig, wish I could answer your question. I heard from a reliable source about 6 months ago, that Omega would taper production after a year or so. That definitely doesn't seem to be the case, and I can't imagine it being in Omega's best interest to kill the rumor with a straight answer or halt production.

I'd say, every one of the watches in the Summer Blue line has a very special dial, with a wide range of appearance in different lighting and shadow conditions. If you love it, go for it, definitely. Production will end at some point; we just don't know when for sure.

Thanks for the detailed reply.

The PO really did amaze me when I first looked at it. The dial, bezel, bracelet and fit were all just…perfect.

I picked up an Aqua Terra last week unexpectedly though and another diver had never even crossed my mind. The only way it works is if I let something go and that’s probably a five digit Sub.

The plan at the moment is to go back and try the PO on again to see if it still does it for me.
If it does. I’ll be back here fairly quickly!

These do a ton right. The medallion caseback fits so incredibly well on the wrist. The dials are fantastic (the heritage and PO are my favorites at this point). The bezel on the PO and the heritage have spectacular action and feel great. Although the bracelets on the SB PO and heritage aren't identical, they're the best of Omega's modern bracelets on dive watches (sorry SMP guys!).

5 digit subs are nice. They're timeless- and I think most people would say that they're a better "wear it everywhere" piece than something as spectacularly singular and loud as a summer blue model. Some would even say that any modern watch collection would have to have a submariner (and the 5 digit is the one to have) so there would be no reason to trade it for something as unique as a summer blue model.

I've found that I don't agree, but ymmv. Best of luck with your decision!
