My understanding is that this was a special factory order version of the 14381. It also has the luminous package. I got the information about the markers from TexOmega who has the same watch and he had consulted Desmond who confirmed that the markers are white gold with rhodium plating.
Aren't all large arrowhead markers made of yellow, rose or white gold?

Don’t think so. Some are stainless steel as best I can recall. Better photo of the dial. Yes, I know the crown is incorrect. That will be replaced with a correct decagonal crown and the correct low profile Omega crystal.

Again, IIRC, 'silver-coloured' constellation indices (of whatever style) are generally SS and rhodium plated - unless special order or deluxe dials.

My steel 2852 hands were oxidized, but the arrowhead markers are pristine, so I believe them to be WG. I never saw oxidized arrowheads!

they might be - but the rhodium plating is there for that reason

That explains why they don't rust!

This thread is now years old. I have shown a few of my watches, but how it is I have omitted this one, I am unable to say. 35 years old, Speedmaster reduced, 18-karat rose gold bezel, steel case, rose gold subsidiary dials. Europe only, and for only one year, I am told. Now on on a black bison leather strap.
