Got this two days ago. Almost bought one in 2006 but delayed and then couldn’t afford it. Always regretted it. Came into some money so finally took the plunge. Still can’t quite believe I’ve got one.

Nice watch! How do you like it?
Love it: the history, the detail, the classic design. I’ve got the Bulova Luna Pilot, which is a lovely watch for a quartz and has a good space related story also. I think I might look for a Pogue next!

Hey guys. Haven't posted in a while. Just an update I wear my speedmaster just about every damn day. Its become a full on love affair for me. It is my favourite watch and I really only ever wear my Seiko when I go on vacation or jump in the pool. Basically this watch is like my wife and my seiko is my side piece. Anyway, here are some action shots this watch never looks bad its phenominal. I'll post a few fun outfits of my seiko if anyone is interested.

If anyone is on the fence about getting one of these, seriously go for it. I do think this is the best watch under 5k you can get. Cheers !!

Oh yeah and btw I pretty much only wear this on the bracelet now a days. I used to go between NATO and leather but now it just sits on the bracelet. 😀 . I didn't bother changing out the clasp to a modern one I like how it is designed right now and I can get a really good fit. Sometimes I like it a bit looser so I'll adjust it with the pin holes. I see the modern clasp upgrades and really think it makes it too bulky. Hope everyone is enjoying their speedy's !

There’s nothing more refreshing than a seasonal strap change. Bas & Lokes on a 3592.50.

@Scarecrow Boat - That's a lovely rally leather strap you have there.

Thank you! It’s what I wear daily. It’s the Malt LeMans strap from BandR bands. It’s super comfy!

Good for you, and thanks for the fun photos; the images really go a long way toward showing the timeless style of the Speedmaster. They have come to speak for themselves in this regard. This watch has taken on a life of its own. It’s unique history and enduring popularity is, in some sense, representative of how we feel about space exploration and its potential... and you’ve done a good job showing how this is still in play all these years later. Lookin good. Keep enjoying.
