Thanks.

The strap was custom made to a 1680 RedSub I had a couple of years ago. Glad I kept the strap, as it complements the Speedy.
Love that strap! Normally I'm all about deployment clasp straps or Zulu Diver/NATO straps, but I feel inspired to slap on my own brown leather strap. Not even close to that gorgeous custom strap of yours, but it's a different look for me.

Moon watches for Thanksgiving holiday...

I knew the dimensions for the Bulova were larger than those for the Speedy, but it's still surprising seeing the size difference side-by-side!

That Bulova looks even bigger than the 45mm measurement. Wow!

Hi folks,

Over the last several months, I've gotten some valuable Speedmaster counsel from a small handful of members.
I just wanted to take a minute to share a few pics, and thank @Livesimply11 @sgrossma @smitty190373 and @Andy K for every opinion solicited via PM, text, email and whatsapp. I've been a Moonwatch owner for 20 years. But recently my appreciation of them has deepened, and the help I get from members along the way plays an important part.

The 145.022's are both from right around 1970. Pre-moon on the left, Straight Writing on the right. The other one is obviously more modern.

Cheers,
-GW

Still just one Omega here, but on the other hand - it is just perfect.
