After all the years of watching the old footage/documentaries/films of the dawn of the space race, then the older, grainy footage of Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions; it always felt felt was watching it at a arm's length. It happened and the results are in, but there was always the question of "how did it feel watching it live?"
Now we get to share this experience and process the same feelings of awe and wonderment of something which even though has been documented, with the new technology will send back higher resolution photos and video to marvel at.
Can't wait to watch the approach of the Moon and then the Earth Rise through the window of us looking back at ourselves. It is going to be awe inspiring for sure.

·My brand new speedmaster dark side of the moon. Could not be more happy. Was a choice between the Apollo 8 and this one..... as for a daily driver this is more safe. Maybe I regret in the future, but I love the look of this one.

·New white Speedy. I went to the Omega Boutique after saving for it. The experience was less than pleasant. I never asked for a discount or all of other crap they use to get you to buy. Just asked to see the watch in the display case. I felt like I was at the Rolex Boutique.
I drove across town to an AD. They were more than pleasant, immediately asked if I wanted to try a watch on, and offered a discount before they even handed it to me. I walked out with a brand new White Speedmaster.
