Thank you kindly, Sir. That old SM accompanied me on seven tours of Afghanistan and one of Iraq while flying chinooks. She’s scratched all to hell but still looks and works great!
My only Seamaster for the time being. Contemplating adding a 2254, SMPc, or first-gen PO in the near future. Open to suggestions on how to break the tie between those three (other than buy them all).
They are great and no matter what condition are always a joy to wear . Oh and thank you for your service

Since you have an Aqua Terra for dressier occasions... I'd say go for the PO 2500 if it fits you. This is coming from a 2254 owner.
Thanks. That is the way I am leaning, even though I've wanted a 2254 for a long time. Unfortunately it seems like the price gap between the two (2254 vs. 2500D PO) is larger than I thought. Wish I could find a place to actually try them all on side by side.
Another pic of my new (old version) Seamaster. Many thanks to all who've wrote about the ceramic 300m on these forums which helped me to make the decision. Hasn't left my wrist since it arrived!
Hi everyone, first post here, go easy on the terrible pictures. I just picked up at Xmas this ‘Oreo Edition PO GMT. I’ve had the Seamaster 300m for about 19 years. I must say the difference in quality (and size) is quite a leap. I have one further Seamaster AT that is the wife’s....so I think we’re in our way to a little collection. All the best, Chris
