Hi, what year is the one on the far left? I just inherited one like that and haven't been able to send it off to check the case back and no one locally will touch it. I have an idea but no use speculating when I can have a top notch Omega jeweler that will give me the exact model and year for sure.
Old and new... My Dad's old Seamaster CK 2849 (circa late 1950s) My own Seamaster Pro 2551.80 Bond mid size.
Ever wondered where the Omega Seamaster's Hippocampus logo came from? Check out the link below. https://www.jamesbondlifestyle.com/articles/omega-seahorse-symbol-seamaster-case-back-explained
How do you like the titanium/ ceramic Seamaster? I am thinking about getting one. I tried it and I loved it.
I absolutely love it. It's light but still feels like it has some heft to it. Plus, for me, the added peace of mind of additional scratch-resistance makes it worth the slightly higher cost.
In my opinion, it's a bit more subtle. But in sunlight, it pops in a different way as the engraved waves "shimmer" as you look at it from different angles. I feel like the white dial is much more in your face while the black dial is more intriguing (both are beautiful, though).
