@Speed2Sea I like yours as well, but the classic look of that Bonneville makes me burn and yearn.

That Thruxton would have brought any 1960's Ace Cafe rocker to their knees crying, that is what they strived to build. The "R" in the designation means that there are goodies on that bike they only could dream about, its a true classic in every way.

Now back on track.

Indeed, and 10 years ago my opinion would have been reversed without doubt.

Thank you the R model was only $1,500 more but includes Brembo Brakes, Ohlins Suspension and a Polished Triple Tree. For me and those who ride, nothing is more important than brakes and suspension. It was a no brainer. The 1200cc engine makes 97 horsepower, fast enough for me. Sadly, this is the last year Triumph will produce the Thruxton.

Forgive me if there is already a thread on this..I see the Moonwatch getting a lot of love (as it should do) but would like to pay homage to the Seamaster! Mine is the newer version and I adore the waves. Would love to also buy a blue one but might be a bit much to have two of them. Show us yours! 😀
Not mine but a coworkers...speedy on my left wrist😉

Got mine nearly a month ago and I freaking love it. I got tired of waiting on a Rolex and their AD "process" and finally went back to my pervious brand choice and figured out a way to use the Omega website filters and selected GMT and Bidirectional filter and found this gorgeous PO GMT, emailed the AD at 10 PM, she confirmed she had it five mins later, picked up the next day . I love this watch and it's become my favorite. My prior favorite had been my 50th Anny Seiko Astron GPS. I rotate my watches weekly and this feels like this has completed the collection. Also swapping to one of the Barton quick release leather straps has been great enhancement.

I put mine on a Zealande strap the other day. I like the result. (It's the first time in a few years I've removed the bracelet. My wife put the bracelet in jewelry cleaner, and the amount of gunk was shocking. But the bracelet, stored away, is sparkling like new.)

Prince isn't interested in Omegas, he thinks they are entry level, the spoiled brat.
