The Speedmaster is derived from the Seamaster line I think so I can get on board.

Everything really came from fish anyway

Shared this pic in the other NTTD related post - might as well share here as well😉. New to the forums, please bear with me:

It’s a rarity that this lives on my wrist but I thought I’d end the year in style.

The 57 reissue gets better with age.
Always loved ALL the 1957 watches. The 57 seamaster with the thin bezel just hits so many right spots. I know many argue about the fauxtina (I understand them) but I can't see these watches looking as good without this colour scheme (even with creamy white).

Wow your watch is already showing some battle-scars on the lugs! Looks great and well worn in. On this note - there doesn't seem to be any articles/materials as to why, back in 1957, Omega released these tool watches with polished lugs on the surface... especially back then people won't use these watches for more formal events. This has always puzzled me from a design perspective, even though I LOVE the look.

The lugs on this one are in better shape than they appear, a bit of oil and light reflection makes the photo appear a bit dull. But they do have a fair share of dings.

I popped this in a different strap today and really like the new look! It makes a refreshing alternative to the original early issue mesh and it wears so well!
