Back on the bracelet after a summer break with a NATO and a rubber strap. Had to send the bracelet to Omega - the clasp wouldn't lock completely and the buttons got jammed in the open position. (Better than the alternative, I suppose.) One brand-new clasp later, and it's back in business.
Nine years ago today, I took a headlong plunge down the horological rabbit hole. My hobby began with this watch, as I imagine it may have done with a number of you here on ΩF. Since then, it has gained a lot of company in the watch box, had a full service, and acquired a few dents and scratches that have become a cherished part of our journey together. I have also made some great friends here, and look forward to making many more.
Just got my 2531.80 back from service by Omega via Watchfinder, or the other way about.
Complete service, new seals HE valve, crown, case tube, service kit and as a goodwill gesture, a new bezel, which was scratched

Thanks 👍 and "oh no" on the scratches.
The first thing I noticed on mine when it came back besides the bezel was the new second hand.
Then it was the case which is beautiful

It lives a hard life, but it is a tool watch, but I could have been more careful.
Changing the coolant pump on my Volvo Penta boat engine.
