I’ve moved the PO onto a NATO for a bit of a change, I really enjoy how subtle it is vs. the standard steel bracelet. I’ve worn it with this strap with jeans / Tshirts, at the beach, to a wedding with a morning suit (forgot to pack the Speedy!), trousers / shirt and to work… Versatile enough for me!

Lots of trial and error working on the perfect bracelet for the SM300 Trilogy but here it is. 321 Ed White Speedmaster bracelet with Uncle Seiko endlinks. Middle portion milled down to more closely resemble a vintage #6 end link. https://imgur.com/a/pW3mhMR

Eight days old and dead nuts accurate so far!

Last week I traded in the blue Aqua Terra 38 (with bracelet and rubber strap) that I bought in January for this white 300m (with bracelet and rubber strap).
I liked the Aqua Terra, but didn’t love it - it was way too damn shiny and dressy for me. Gave it nine months but just couldn’t bond with it. I wouldn’t go as far as saying I couldn’t get it off fast enough, but whenever I wore it I would always want to change watches as soon as I got home. What does that tell you?
The Seamaster 300m is much more my style.

Looks great! An Art Blakey fan, I take it? Great music.

The stock bracelet that came with the Trilogy unfortunately didn't have any taper and it looked odd. Were the original vintage late 50s flat link bracelets straight or tapered? I saw an early 60s photo of Marlon Brando wearing a Seamaster 300 and it looks like his Omega flat link bracelet was straight. So maybe they didn't have any taper in the late 50s and early 60s?

You have found a tapered solution that looks awesome. Well done!

Gorgeous! The texture and sheen from that brown strap suit the gold very nicely.

It may be hard to find a bracelet that fits an 18k watch from that era. The end links will need to be as soft or softer than the 18k case and lugs, which limits your options. The end links will also need a flush fit to not rub up against your lugs and damage them over time. I’ve seen so many lovely Seamasters from that era with ruined lugs from those darned Speidel bracelets…

Will probably avoid any bracelet then. Thanks for letting me know!
