The Boutique wouldn't negotiate on the price, but I did get them to throw in a blue rubber strap and I already have a grey and navy blue NATO I plan to use as well. I might have to do a little photo shoot next week with the different looks.
Looking forward to seeing those pics!

Thank you, it was on Saint Marco square in Venice last week, the origin of Seamaster logo... : ) lovely day, perfect light, no tourists, that was unreal. All the best
I loved Venice when we there a few years ago.

Very nice. Like them both, especially the white dialed one. Can I ask if the white one is vintage and what model/reference it is?

It’s a 168.022 (1967) bought right here on OF. I added a 1068 BoR bracelet which is incorrect for the reference, but I like it.

Bond Quartz (2221.80 - I believe the last Bond-Quartz-SMP: but someone please correct me).

Gets a lot of wear because I’m lazy and i don’t have to mess with the time much...

The 2221.80 is my most recent addition, and it’s been really convenient to have a quartz in rotation.

Pictured here on a Zealande strap with my other Seamasters.

Lol, typical watch geek, even the seconds hands are all in sync. Perfect, I would have done exactly the same.
Got rid of mine a few years ago and deeply regret it. Got the new smp300 in black last year and just can't fall in love with it. In fact I'm looking at a Tudor Black Bay 58 in its place and possibly moving from Omega completely! IMO, they have turned their watches into suit watches rather than tool watches, bit too 'blingy' for my liking.

This was my issue with the SM300 until I got the center links polished. I also prefer the 1st generation of the 8500 ATs that includes a fully brushed bracelet as pictured.

You could always go back-catalog!

Yeah, wondering about having the highlighted polished links in the bracelet brushed? But I still just think the whole look of the watch is a little bit too shiny - bezel, dial, even the indecies. I think it was an impulsive purchase in the AD, you know what it's like in these places!

Or maybe I just need to wear it more on the bracelet and rough it up a bit. They look so much better after years of wear.

Ok, so going to give the bracelet a little more wrist time, see if it grows on me?
