The 57 reissue gets better with age.
Always loved ALL the 1957 watches. The 57 seamaster with the thin bezel just hits so many right spots. I know many argue about the fauxtina (I understand them) but I can't see these watches looking as good without this colour scheme (even with creamy white).
Wow your watch is already showing some battle-scars on the lugs! Looks great and well worn in. On this note - there doesn't seem to be any articles/materials as to why, back in 1957, Omega released these tool watches with polished lugs on the surface... especially back then people won't use these watches for more formal events. This has always puzzled me from a design perspective, even though I LOVE the look.
