I didn’t know they made a combat sub GMT. Arriving June? Did you pre-order? I totally missed this.
PS I like the Hammy too. I have a Hammy GMT myself and it punches way above its price point.
Totally forgot about the classic Airman GMT- this is the 40mm version as opposed to the original 36mm. I have read much about these and nothing but positive things.

I picked up one the 'purist' 36mm models and I think it's great fun for the price (paid around $460 to buy off of a private reseller). However, I really wish I'd gone for the 40mm black dial. The 36mm is a bit too small for me and I don't love how the date window cuts into the numeral.
It was a drop.com preorder that popped up about a week before the 3-hand version was to ship last week (numbered edition 500 watch run) with those preorders back in June. But drop.com was offering to let people cancel the 3-hand for the new GMT preorder. I chose both since the 3-hand was to be a gift for Xmas. The GMT is already sold out after less than 2 weeks.
I fell in love with the Hammie a couple years ago, but I’d helped the salesman pick out his own Hammie and it was this GMT and it was the last one in the US. Didn’t know it when I ordered mine the next week, and it was too late. This summer he was looking to get a Seiko Pressage brown dial automatic and sold me the Hammie to help pay for it. New my Hamilton had an MSRP of $1400 and would have cost me $1040 plus tax, but I got it for $600 used.
I read on their site that once the Combat Sub soda GMT is launched it will be available for $40 more. If that is the case I may buy one. I had a Combat Sub once. It wears very nicely. I regret selling it. A GMT version would be kick-a$$!
I like that the power reserve is 42 hours vs 38 hours for the 3-hand, and it can be the beater alternative to my Tudor and Rolex Pepsi GMT's, but I'm not sure how I feel about the clasp design.
I’ve gone back and forth on getting one of these- in either color (was offered a full kit black 36 for $450 and passed on it and kind of kick myself). The 36 seems fun for the vintage form factor and I have several vintage divers in that size and find them fine to wear. But at 40mm it’s more in line with my Rolex GMT for sizing which I find perfect- so tough to know. The only thing I have read negatively about the 40mm Airman is due to the angle and length of the lugs, if you have a small wrist it will sit too long across the wrist.

I use my GMT’s for travel so high end is unwise for me. Watches like the Hamilton and this Glycine are the sweet spot offering looks, quality, and functionality at a a price that won’t break the bank if they are damaged, lost, or stolen. I would probably put it on leather most of the time, and on a Nato for the beach so the clasp isn’t a major issue for me. In fact, a leather or rubber version to bring the price down would be awesome.
Wrist size? It does look a hair on the small size with sleeves up but most of my sub 37mm watches are reserved for colder months with sleeves down as the big honkers catch on cuffs. That thing would probably look fine to you from peeking under a long sleeve shirt
About 7.5". I agree it's probably fine and I'm just overthinking it. Just feels tiny compared to a Black Bay or a modern Omega. 😁
