This thread has made me both really want a vintage Airman and terrified about trying to determine which ones are real....

You should see the direct threaths this guy has been sending me through private messages "You don't know me but I'm not a good guy", "I know where you live", "you feel more secure than you should", etc. Quite pathetic really.
If that's all true, you absolutely do need to deal with it via @dsio - but even more than before, not on this thread. I do think your remarks a few days ago were unduly blunt and harsh, but that's way past now, and any beef belongs elsewhere.
I was so pleased to see a thread on the GA, and when it started to attract the likes of @James Sadilek , @Tubber , and @pdxleaf , I was looking forward to really advancing my knowledge by learning from them. We do not want this thread closed, but as @arturo7 observed, it's getting so you don't want open it sometimes.
Just to clarify, that comment was made regarding an increasing desire to own a GA every time is saw one.
