He talks.

Flocking hell..... early seventies or later I guess - is this one solid or gripping hands? I did not know they did a bearded 'talking' commander. Is he giving much away under interrogation? I have a lot of vintage stuff in storage but have never had time to sort it out / photograph everything.... a project for a few years time maybe.

Would a guy with a scar like that on his face talk to interrogators? And no "Kung Fu Grip" on this guy. His grip is fully occidental.

I let my nephew carry on playing aqua lung / diver / spaceman with this vintage action man air pack...… I did not seem right to tell him what a flamethrower was (tough toys back in the day :0)

@Flatfoot … Free flight must have got on my YouTube recommended.... this just popped up. InterScale 2015 @ Nijmegen.
Lovely models and great flying skills. The Lancaster at 1:24 is amazing and seems to fly well. I would like to see that outside :0)
Funny how it tips up on final landing. Without a bomb load if you use full (x4) engine power I am told the real thing will bow to the crowd and end on its nose with bent props :0) I got a nice shot of Lancaster NX611 Just Jane a while back (copy below) which captures the power.

I need to find them but I know I have an action man in space suit and one with the parachute... Can't remember how many times I threw this guy out the window and got down the three floors stairs to retrieve him...

There have been a few versions of both over the years... and depending on the condition, completeness and type both could be worth some money. I imagine your Para is a red devil - hopefully he still has his goggles. The grail Astronaut is the moon walker / mini record playing talking backpack. But original Gemini EVA model is also good - hopefully with the propellant gun and balance bar.... You should dig them out for old times sake.

Looks like with more height it works well :0)

This year I'm in my 30th year collecting Topping scale models... once advertized as the most effective single means of selling your products 👍
This brand of contractor scale models was named after Edward William Topping, who started the company in 1945...
It's fascinating to discover & see some of these scale models came with different stands (e.g. pictured here 2 different X-15 plexi stands)
For those interested, take a look at their 1961 catalog:

Nice catalogue - I would love the Avro Avrocar. Also the working Chris Craft Riviera model... which ties back nicely to the Omega 1948 Seamaster co-axial :0)…. Quality is always recognised :0)

Some pictures taken at a recent contest by my true Brit flying buddy Clive G.
The ship is a rubber powered balsa and tissue free flight model of the Laird Super Solution racer. Jimmy Doolittle won the Trans-Continental Bendix Trophy race in 1931 with this ship.

On the winding stooge. Fitting the noseblock and prop in place with a fully wound motor. Note the Seamaster GMT chrono used for timing flights.

Launch. There's still a 12 year old boy in the photo...

Climb out. Initial Torque burst from the tightly wound motor pulls her around to the left in a corkscrew climb.

Couldn’t resist. My hobby is my 41 year old hobby car. Two weeks ago, I went to a show & shine at Nanton, Alberta, a small town 45 miles south of where I live, with the hobby car. There is an aeronautical museum there, funded entirely by corporate sponsors and private donation. This car show is an annual event, and on that week end, the museum’s Lancaster bomber is wheeled out of the hangar. Several times a year, they fire up the four Packard built Merlin engines, and run them for the assembled crowds. Long term, the museum is aiming to have a license to taxi the Lancaster. (It will never fly again). It is one of four Lancasters in the world with four operational Merlin engines.
