Those are some primo Dugenas. Love the count down bezel, and the latte art!

My favorite watch at the moment, gets a lot of wrist time. Not a brazen Royal Oak copy like the Bulova.
Unique octogonal asynchron case and bezel, plus crown guarded at 4 o clock.

I love this brand and have now got four Dugenas in my stable. I started out with a fairly cheap automatic Monza:

Helvetia supplied Dugena with movement's in the late 1950s / early 1960s and there was obviously some link into the 1970s. I have seen several of these marked Helvetia with the Dugena logo like this exact copy of your Monza.

Not mine, but a rare and cool one.
Nivada and Le Jour also had this dial.

Cool, this is my old watch (and pics) 😁 Yes, the Crystal was super high, looked neat!

Nivada is going to remake their version with a bit larger subdials.

Dugena Sport
A. Schild 1950

Pics from https://www.ebay.com/itm/265915577076

Pulled the trigger on this after seeing Nekkid build an AS 1950 in an Oris Super.

My understanding is that Dugena functioned as the German arm of Alpina until WWII, and the outbreak of war precipitated their split from the Swiss company and the creation of the Dugena brand.

Dugena is an acronym for “Deutsche Uhrmacher-Genossenschaft Alpina.”

That’s cool - I’ve got a pulsations/tachy dial on one of mine, but never seen a combined telemeter and tachy! 👍

One of my favourite Dugenas: early automatic chronograph with cal. 12 in a case known from Heuer Autavias and some colour splashes.

Kind regards,
F.Antl

There's not a lot going on here. Let's see if this twin shot can encourage others to show their examples of this lovely brand.

Kind regards,
