I picked this up on eBay new with warranty for $275. It wears much like a vintage watch at 35mm. Some will be turned off by the quartz movement, but this is a reissue of a 1978 Tissot Seastar which I assume was quartz. The dial is a beautiful dark blue.

Not a fan of blue dials or quartz. But I do like Tissot. The case design makes me wonder if the fashion of the 1970s is coming back.

It is a reissue of a 1978 Seastar, so yes.

Why modern? I think 34mm was possibly a ladies watch but it’s been adopted by men. In any event it’s now unisex.

Got some.. not good at taking photos

I love the HMT Kohinoor with all the great colors. Getting them in the US is difficult. I have thought about using Shoppre, but the fees and shipping are more than double the price of the watch.

Think the air king 34mm fits this thread perfectly. 100% Unisex to me.

I am in a couple of HMT FB groups where there are some honest sellers. One person in the group almost always buys these HMTs as soon as they come in stock and gets them shipped to US via shoppre.

I’m always happy to recommend these and I also have 'slim' wrists.

They’re 35mm, waterproof to 3 bar/30 metres and a current model with a 5 year warranty although I bought both second hand - one on eBay the other on Chrono24.

Longines have done such a nice job with the conquest line.

Actually, a damn nice watch purchased from an esteemed member 10 years ago and worn a half-dozen times. 32.5mm
