The 36mm two tone quartz variant was the watch that started my love for Omega watches, so they hold a very special place in my heart. I ultimately decided to let go of the 36mm in favour of the full size model, which to this day still is my absolute favourite watch in my collection.

I purchased the watch in pretty worn condition in november last year as a bit of a project. I had the original case swapped out by a nos replacement part, and the original 1438 by a nos 1441. This is the end result, the watch both looks and runs like new. I think all of these Pre Bonds are incredibly cool, especially because of the many different case backs, crowns, clasps and hands that were used during its runtime. I’m curious to see how those of you who own one of these are enjoying it thus far, looking forward to see your Pre Bonds in action!

I'd love to see them. I'm a Bond SMP devotee, but the pre-Bond Seamaster intrigues me.

10?? Goodness me that’s crazy, would you also happen to have one with a champagne dial? Haven’t seen one off those in full size automatic. looking forward to see them! 😊

Yeah, i went through a phase about pre-bond watches and i went a bit overboard. The full size automatics are the rarest ones, and they are so comfortable to wear, really thin and a normal size (for my 7.5" wrist anyway)
