One owner (me), my 1971 Rolex-Oyster Air King Date. Came with steel bezel, but updated as of my 50th year of ownership (2021) with a NOS genuine Rolex 14-karat yellow gold bezel. It is my “Golden Anniversary” Rolex. Bracelet is after market, replacing the original which wore out.
My OP39 114300 rhodium dial 😍
IMO the ideal size, the discreet dial, modern, versatile, chic without being ostentatious. It's by far the most pleasant watch I've ever worn.
It only has two flaws: the lack of an easylink (fortunately very easy to install) and the fact that the blue squares of the index are not luminescent
Just discovered this thread, and figured I'd share my most recent project pickup! I don't have it in hand yet, so it is just a ebay listing picture, but I grabbed what I think is a OP-Date 1501! Crown looks original, bracelet is not authentic, but the movement looks good despite being sold as 'water damage'.
