Well thank you sir for your kind words, very much appreciated.
For the record I'm not grumpy, I'm actually very easy going and relaxed, and more than willing to help people, but people also need to help themselves and understand what it is that they have bought.
There is an expectation from some that an expensive luxury watch should keep perfect time, yet the reality is somewhat different and I think that people struggle with this, yet a few minutes on the brands website and reading the manual can provide a great understanding of their watch. This is shown quite often with the number of posts on 'how do I wind a Speedmaster Moonwatch'.
New members at clubs are always the bane of existing members, I went through this when I joined a photographic club, camera's not good enough, not got the right lenses, need a better tripod etc etc, you should have seen their faces when I won the first contest I entered after being a member for just a month. I knew my skills could be improved but I had bought umpteen books and magazines and learnt the basics and been brutal with my analysis of my results, working out why the shot worked but more importantly why it had not.
So, I'm sorry you don't like my posts, but they are what they are and I have no intention of changing, I try to be objective sometimes I get it right sometimes not, but heyho no one is perfect.
