Shortening a 1940s ‘scissor’ link Gemex expansion bracelet

Hi all, I recently purchased a very nice Gallet Multichron 30 and this wonderful bracelet was attached. I would like to keep it on the watch but it is too large for my wrist. Anyone that knows if these can be shortened, and how?

I don’t believe they can be shortened unless you disassemble them.

I don't think that one is adjustable. Just to be sure though, open the links up and take a photo of how they are connected.

Oh also, if you do figure it out please do update here.. I’ve been tempted by these in the past so if they can be shortened that would be good info..

If you open up those expanders, are there any that look like they can be popped out?
