Shifted Omega Seamaster De Ville Dial?

Hi all,

I just bought an Omega Seamaster De Ville on ebay. On arrival, it appears the 'T Swiss Made T' text is largely cut off. I have attached a couple photos, where you can see only about half the text. In person, it's even more difficult to see, only the very top of the letters is just about visible.

Has the dial slipped down slightly? Or is it simply a sign of a odd redial / fake?

Would really appreciate your thoughts, thanks for the help in advance!!

My vote is that the dial moved within the case, if this condition is different than the photos in the original listing. Mind, that means the watch should get serviced sooner rather than later since the dial and movement aren't supposed to move like that

Looks like the crystal/tension ring are incorrect (to wide on the tension ring) partially obstructing the markings. You can clearly see a gap in the tension ring.

Thank you both for the replies, I appreciate it.

That was a concern I had when I was looking at it. Here's another photo of the gap, if it adds anything.

What does that indicate? Is it possible that just the crystal was badly replaced? Or is it often a more 'ominous' sign?
