Serti Dial

I am currently considering a 16613/116613 Submariner.

I have seen some of the 16613 with the serti dial with diamonds and sapphires. I think they look fantastic. A little luxury without being gaudy or too flashy.

What are you thoughts on serti 16613 vs blue dial 16613? Resale value?

Thanks

If you’re looking for the better resale, my opinion would be the blue personally. I think the Serti dial might be a bit too niche for some ? The Blue is a (little) bit more understated and maybe more attractive to a wider market?

I really think you need to buy what you are going to enjoy more. As soon as you get into TT sports watches, you are already in niche territory, and worrying about re-sale value seems a bit silly in my opinion.

Good point. The blue is much more striking to me

if resale is a concern, get a submariner or sub-date. hulk/kermit are hot atm, but subs are classics and will always move

The OP is actually trying to decide between two Submariners.

Quite true. I am always amazed how well Rolex holds their value
