OK,
so found a watch said only buy it if can see serial number and paper work although was a card they do match obviously , that was all good.
Now any way I can check this against some sort of data base ?

Why not contact Omega directly.......or.....contact an Omega AD and inquire with them about the Serial Number?

I would think that Omega would probably be the only one with some sort of data base to a Serial Number referencing all their watches.

Thought of doing that with the restless night thinking about the watch, so will go down that route

More worried about the age of the watch and not handed over any monies as yet so still up in the air

Hid a bit of the serial number , don't want to give the fakers any easy ideas , ask the seller for valid warranty certificate, said didn't think he could register the watch , shouldn't it already have been registered ? as pre owned.
Is this how the date is entered on the warranty card and what's on the bit of card that is not shown
