Thinking of getting a watch through the forums but I am abit nervous. What would you say the best practices are when it comes to ensuring the seller has good references?

Also take some time to look at their post history, number of posts, likes etc. Are they a new member or a longtime member in good standing, who seems well known.

Ultimately you e got to do your due diligence and satisfy yourself that you're happy sending a sum of money to a stranger.

Well for starters you have to have 200 posts before you're granted privileges to reply to posts in the buy/sell area.

Would be good to introduce yourself in the introductions thread.

Also would be good to know what you're looking for. Certain people here are essentially experts on certain pieces

But you don't need 200 posts to message a seller to inquire about and/or buy a watch.

Thanks! I am looking for a submariner 14060M. There was a listing by this email recently “[email protected]”. Does this email ring any bells?
