·Thanks for all the great comments guys. Personally I think both watches represent very solid values for a watch purchase. I think I paid about $700 for the SDGM and $1,500 for the TAG. No way the TAG is doubly better than the Seiko so clearly you're paying for the brand. Unfortunately the SDGM's are discontinued so likely getting tough to come by.
