Model ?
——-

Ah, sorry!
Difficult to read... lol!
Model No. 6119-8250

The same model exists with different color face! Silver/White one and this dark grey, anthracite/ brownish color!

At least it is to me somehow also brownish!
Depends on the light! In lamplight it seams more brownish in daylight more anthracite!
My wife says it is pure anthracite, no brown!
I am not arguing about...
Lol!

P.S. just found some pics from the movement and added them, just if it may interests somebody...

6119B, seems to be a service movement?!

Ahh, so it is a 611x style of case. I always thought these where all earlier pre 70’s. Why would the “b” be a service movement in this case?

Okay... I need to resize this newly acquired 6119-8300 rally diver before I can actually wear it, but the bracelet adjustment sticker is still there so at least I know how to 😁

I am far away beeing an watch expert, nor on Seiko!
It is just what I found out searching the internet, about the case numbers and writings!
“Water Proof” (separated stamped) should be a watch 1969 or before!
My blue face Seiko has that!
The serial No starts with 87.....
First no. 8 Is year, so it should be1968!
Second comes the month 7, July.

“Waterproof” stamped in the case started from 1969!
The anthracite dialed one serial no starts with 8D.... that could be 1978 and D for December.
Maybe I am wrong?!
What I found on the net is, that it’s model is made about from 1968 - 1978.

edit:
I just found a Seiko serial # decoder,
It tells me:

“Results for movement 6119 with serial number 8D.......
The watch was made in December 1968”

Ok!
So it seams I was wrong!

I changed the production date in the post above!

lol!

The Mrs bought me this for Xmas as a surprise because I'd mentioned it. The Sarb 035 was originally for the domestic Japanese market. Very well made and really enjoying it.

Today is Valentine’s Day, so I’m wearing the watch my wife bought me for our wedding day!
