I just picked up the same model recently--the SPB 153. Even though the stock strap is excellent, I've been looking for another alternative to wear with it.

Hi, are you familiar with Olongapo bands? These are metal bands traditionally made in the Philippines and often worn with Seikos such as this model. I recently ordered one from Jaffy Jurado (https://www.facebook.com/olongapobands/) and will receive it soon. Might be worth checking out!

They are often engraved with military insignias, but there are non-military designs as well (photos below).

I've seen Olongapo Bands before, yes. How durable and comfortable are they?

Not really sure about durability since I don't have mine yet. They are supposedly very comfortable. They look like they might dig into your arm, but what from what I've read online, that's not the case at all. Can report back here once I receive mine.
