This pic stolen from Reddit. I just purchased a mundane speedy here (to replace one lost in weird circumstances) I was trying to set up a wise account but I’m regarded with these damn payment apps. I guess I need to transfer from my bank account onto wise. So anyway I just wired the mundane speedy money. Gotta finish setting up wise as I think I would get this for its uniqueness

Well, that's different!

Am I seeing a crystal on it? if not it could serve the vision impaired.

A mundane Speedy? I like mundane Speedies. Will it be soon seen in an upcoming installment of WRUW?

A Speedy lost in weird circumstances?

Tell more (if it's not too painful).

Not actually a Seiko, it's an Issey Miyaki "TO".
If it's the early version it use an Hattori quartz movement.
If it's the later revision it uses a Seiko automatic NE15B.
I was very tempted a couple of years ago but got side tracked by something else.

Am I seeing a crystal on it?
Has a sapphire crystal.

Hmm the seller has it listed as a “seiko issey myaki” once I read something on the internet I automatically believe it as I was under the assumption everything was fact checked.

Should be coming this week so yes I hope it will be in Wruw. Not a painful tale of the original loss just long. Regardless it was one of my first “real” watches so I missed it and will be glad to have a similar one back. Mind you I bought it via wire transfer so I’m at the sellers mercy.

Automatic version of TO has visible crown, if crown is hidden to the case - it's quartz version. If I remember correct..

You are correct he listed it as quartz I had a discussion in which he spoke of the automatic model. Seller still thinks it’s a seiko it’s not m job to correct everyone.
