As I continue to downsize the collection, I am offering for sale my Seiko Lord Marvel 5740-8000 from 1969. This watch has the curved linen dial, in excellent condition. This watch features the Seiko caliber 5740C, the first high beat movement (36000 bph) made by Seiko and the foundation for their later Grand Seiko high beat watches. Service history unknown but this watch is keeping good time. Case condition appears good to the naked eye, but the watch has clearly been worn over the last 50 years. The macro shots highlight the multiple scratches that are apparent under magnification.
