Very nice watch, but the case is gold filled, not gold capped.
Mine Liners say hello

Thanks for replying bubba48..your liners are very nice..I get confused over the wording of these watch companies..I have a gold filled Bulova Space view where the gold is thickly applied and is stated gold filled...which is obviously stated on the inside of the Seiko..but yet around the edge of the case back you can plainly see where the rim is , the gap between the case and gold..which I've seen on other gold capped watches..ill try and get an image up to show you

In these photos are the areas that have completely separated from the case metal..which are like gold capped ones I've got..could it be a different interpretation from Seiko of its finish?

Seiko made so many stylish watches. Gold-capped will be a thick layer of gold over stainless steel. Gold-filled, as in this case, is a much thinner layer of gold over a base metal. If it really is separating, that's not a great sign, but hopefully it will hold up well enough for occasional wear.

Can I use G-S Hypo Cement , the jewellers glue to fill the small gaps and bond the gold to the base metal where its coming away?
