Nice watch and nice band. However, I think the watch is a little lost in the forest.

You need something bigger and more retro, more like 1970s/1980s big cases with rounded sides etc.

Once it is on the wrist and the band is not so overwhelming. I am going to get a piece of leather and make a strap for it soon and try wearing it for the day. This is what it looks like just laying on my wrist.

Do you happen to know the reference number? Really nice looking watch you have!
Sorry just seeing this now. I believe it is ref. 7S26-04B0.... not truly sure. Picked it up for $60 at a TJ Maxx one day

Edit: I know that is a peculiar reference number. But I don't see anything else that could be it other than the serial

Yeah that is the internal Seiko number , but it is hard to look up with that number. The first number 7s26 is the movement, the second is the internal model.

Looks like an early variant of the snxs77 which is 7s26-0480

This are almost impossible with so much variation in them. With the serial you can figure out the year of production then look at archived catalogs and try to dig it out.

Thank you for the modern Seiko ref/serial number lesson @Foo2rama. I was very confused when I looked at it again. I am assuming it is a 2015 production considering I bought it new and the first digit is a 5.

It's a beauty I'm also trying to ID it for me and add it to my Seiko hunt list. I found an almost identically one posted to wus a few years back but missing the 9. Oddly only 12/6 it was unbalanced.

Wrist shot makes sense, not a bad combo if you're into jewellry and watches.
