Seiko 6138-0040 ‘Bull Head’ with back and blue dial from October 1977. All parts are original to the watch including the fishbone bracelet and clasp. The watch is in superb condition and appears unpolished. These are not small watches, and therefore often have dents and dings to the case, this example has only a few light wear marks commensurate with age. The case still shows sharps edges with its original brush and polished finish. The case size is big but they wear well on the wrist, the size from 3-9 is 43mm and the crown/pushers sit at 11-12-1. The pushers and crown are also original. The 6138B movement is running well and all functions start/stop/reset as expected. The movement is unserviced by me, but I will provide a 6 month mechanical warranty with my watchmaker, from the date of sale. The Japan 6138 -0060 T dial is original, as are the hands. All lume is intact and unmarked. Bracelet is original fishbone with Z040s end links. Caseback serial 704836, dating the watch to October 1977. Original black bezel with TACHYMETER 500. Date wheel is English/Kanji. Original mineral glass without any scratches or chips. Overall this is a superb original example of a collectors favourite.
