Just called the Seiko boutique in NY and tried to put a pre-order on the black and white versions. For $177 that is a lot of watch for the money.

I like the collaboration, I think an off-white dial like the original would have been slightly better looking.

No they did not. Will not be available for sale in the US...However, I reached out to a friend who lives in Japan and I am trying to purchase as many as they will let me through him. The guy in the Seiko store even told me that if I get an extra one he would purchase one from me.
