·Thoughts on this 1966 Seiko 62MAS bezel? I've been told by a very reputable dealer that it is an original service replacement.

·Well, it's not one of the normal inserts I'd expect to see, but I don't really know how to distinguish between an aftermarket vs a service insert. As you probably know, the zeroes are usually almost square looking and the numbers are more flattened down. There are other subtle differences, e.g. small serifs missing,
