A rare Seiko 6159 from June 1969. The 6159a movement was fully serviced by Simon Freese on 8/8/18 (£280) and has the remainder of the 12 months mechanical warranty attached. It was also sent to Duncan 'The watch bloke' in September to have the hands colour matched. The seals were also replaced during the work, and the watch passed a 10 bar pressure test. Overall the watch is in good condition, all parts are original to the watch. I chose to leave the dial as is. The dial is in good shape but there is some discolouration to the larger plots, more so at 12. These did leak! I have owned a few of these and it isn't that easy to find one without a relume dial. The last 2 I bought both had relumed dial, and hands. If the new owner wishes to adjust the dial I recommend Simon or Duncan to to do the work. The case is sharp and unpolished with the original bezel and crown, and will come on a new 'Uncle Seiko' waffle strap. I am only selling as I have bought too many watches and need to free up some funds. I have recently started a building project, and the bills it generates are making my eyes water. I will be selling more watches to cover some costs. I do not recommend the watch is used for diving, it is vintage after all. Returns accepted if not accurately described and shown, buyer pays all costs. £4950 GBP plus ship. UK £20 EU £35, ROW £50. Fedex Express/Fully insured. https://omegaforums.net/search/9559588/?q=smitty190373&o=date&c[node]=10 Pictures The reason I am selling some watches. Thank you.
