·Hi everyone
I'm hoping to get some more information about the pictured ladies Omega watch which was a family inheritance not so long ago.
Firstly, I know that the box does not match the watch. A new watch was bought from a jewellers in Brisbane, Australia in around 1972-3 in that box but it was subsequently lost and replaced under insurance with the one pictured. The new watch had an ETA 978.002 movement which was not working and I had it professionally replaced recently, as pictured. The watch is now working well.
I'm hoping to find out the model, if it is part of a particular series, an approximate year, and, of course, if it is desirable or not? Also, is the hour marker a diamond?
I'd appreciate any insights that you may have, and I will try to answer questions if I can.
Thanks so much in advance!
Dave
