    Hello,
I am new in the forum and I was hoping I could get some advice on a current predicament Im in.
in 2016 I bought from a well known retailer a Pre-moon Ed White 1964, in stunning shape, beautiful dial, very good hands and overall in excellent condition (running of course). However, I did not notice, nor I new enough about the bezel fever at the time. Sadly, the bezel is not a DON90, and it seems to have been replaced with bezel fitted from mid 145.002-69 until 145.002-78 (7 on the 70 with a serif).
In this scenario, what should I do? It it worth it to try to purchase (and disclaim if selling) a super expensive DON90 bezel? What would the value of a watch in its current condition? And a a collector what would be the best way to go about this?
All info and advice is welcome.
Please see the corresponding image from this gorgeous Omega below.

That bezel while not original is in very good condition. The price to swap it for a similar condition DON (after selling this one) could be over £2K/$3K and I am not sure it would add that to your watches value. Now that isn't the clearest photo so don't take the following as gospel but I also have concerns over the dial there. EW lume is notoriously wobbly but I have a feeling that may have had some lume work to both dial and hands. The rehaut being silver (or is it in fact black as it should be) looks too early for a -64 EW too, so the bezel may not be your only concern there I am sorry to say.

Dear padders, please see below some additional images..the rehaut is indeed black, but in the previous photo there was way too much glare and the ISO on the camera was set way too high. What do you think? Thanks in advance. IMG_20190922_232957.jpg IMG_20190922_233012.jpg IMG_20190922_233018.jpg IMG_20190923_143915.jpg

I don’t like the hands. Overpainted when redone.

Dial screams relume to me (hands too, and thick repaint) as all have mentioned. Looking closely at the ‘.|.’ At 12 I can see two different color lumes.

Would tend to agree re. above.
I am sure it looks very nice on your wrist. Putting a DON on it will not likely increase the value correspondingly and if you went with a DON in poorer condition (re. cost) then the condition of the DON would look odd against the appearance of the dial. If it was mine I would enjoy it as-is.
