Second opinion on vintage Seamaster Cosmic (136.017)

Hi, OF team! New here but eager homework-doer, with thanks to the OF community for all the helpful info so far.

I've been seriously considering a Cosmic 136.017 in the US$800 range (will be serviced right before shipment). It's a reputable seller (Kaba from IG/Reddit; very responsive so far), and most of the things about the watch look good to my admittedly untrained eyes: facets, case brushing, crown, crystal in good shape with the Omega logo, etc. He even provided movement pictures, which I understand is rare for sellers of Cosmics due to the case design.

One thing I’m not completely sure about is the dial, though: Unlike other 136.017s I’ve seen, the dial seems to have vertical brushing rather than sunburst/radial, and the “Swiss Made” text at the bottom doesn’t have the “T” for tritium.

Could any Cosmic vets spare a moment to share some opinions in general and/or about whether this might be a redial or if anything else looks amiss? Would be much appreciated :)

Hi @nonamerrr

Welcome to the forum.

I am not well versed in this reference, so wait for advice from the pros. But one thing that struck me was the lume without Swiss made T.
Unsure if this can be expected or not, but thought I would mention.

There is this thread as well for comparison and more info.

Thanks a ton! My thoughts exactly on the lume without the T but will wait to see what the pros say (I also asked a similar question in the Cosmic thread)
