As in the title, i am curious to find if there is out there a 12.68z movement with a serial lower then 5 1xx xxx.
I believe the movement was introduced in 1929, if i am not mistaken, but i did not see 12.68z from the 1929 or 1930...
You have knowledge about some examples from those years?
Thank you.

Hi,
The lowest serial number I have seen on a 12.68Z was 5 053 570 on an eBay bid (yes I recorded it, I was like you interested in early variants of this caliber). The most recent was over 11 500 000. It seems its production spanned over 30 years.

I was just talking with some friends about how i did not see to many serials like 5 0xx xxx from all Longines movements, not just the 12.68z.
Real nice that you record them!

Also, this puts the 5 053 570 in 1931! :)

I asked Longines about serial number 5'102'209 and they said it was originally invoiced on 31 December 1930. So, I think that 5'053'570 could have been originally invoiced in 1930.
