Search Omega 2471 backcase

Hello, I'm in France and have a 1950 rose gold Cosmic Moonphase 2471 (my father got it from his uncle around 55), but... the gold backcase is lost for decennies ! I would like so much to have a backcase back, maybe a staintless one would be a good replacement. I'm looking for this back for years, no result. The watch currently has a nice transparent back, glued on by a watchmaker. Do you think I can find an original background one day? Any ideas? Thanks a lot. Regards from Paris.

This will be very hard if not impossible IMO unfortunately. Have you contacted Omega theselves?

Thank you very much for your valuable information and advice. I think I will continue to wear this magnificent watch in this condition and wait for one day perhaps I will come across an opportunity that will allow me to complete the watch. Having a gold case made by Omega is far too expensive. Maybe I will have a stroke of luck one of these days. Kind regards.
