I found this almost mint Aqua Terra, just what I’ve been looking for. The little bar shaped hour markers above the main hour markers don’t quite line up with the bigger main hour markers. Not all of them, just at the 12, 1, 6 & 8 don’t line up perfectly. I’ve seen pics of others with the same misalignment, although most are aligned perfectly. Certainly won’t affect my enjoyment, as I won’t be able to see it without magnification. The watch has almost no wear, and the serial numbers on the watch and the warrantee card match. The Ebay seller has a perfect rating and been a member since 2003. Can’t wait to get this one in. Something to be concerned about? Might it indicate a fake? Anyone like this one as much as I do? Anyone else like the watch as much as I do?
The "little bar shaped hour markers" are actually reflections of the hour markers mirrored in the case ring of the dial/crystal. The photos are from an angle, so the reflected images will not be perfectly aligned. Edit: No, upon reflection, they're not reflections. See below.
You're probably right Geoff, I couldn't tell from the pics but now I notice the outer chapter ring. I wouldn't worry about it too much though, even the official Omega picture exhibits the same issues. https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-aqua-terra-chronograph-25125000
